Channel Nat Geo Wild wanted surreal broadcast content for a new television program, Wild After Dark, to compete with the Adult Swim fan block, while staying true to the brands animal-loving fan base.
We conceptualized and pitched the creative concept of ‘dogs licking people in slow motion.’ In collaborating with the agency and client, we structured it in a game show format, which would air in various blocks during the hour-long programs.
We then supplied the production, which included a multi-camera setup to capture different herds of dogs licking people. The end result was multiple gameshow segments which aired nationally on Nat Geo Wild during the midnight time slot, and unusual social media content for the brand.
